Ok, so after this year basically kicked me in the nads until I was in the fetal position, I finally got back to producing some tracks.
Here’s one that I call Half Baked C.O.Y.O.T.E. – I call it half baked because there still isn’t a second verse and/or bridge. But it’s far enough along where you get the picture.
This album is going to be a little faster (around the 120 bpm range) and more house/dance/industrial influenced. I hope you like the direction and I can’t wait until it’s done so I can get back to my favorite thing to do on Earth- perform live.
Love you all. Funk is it’s own reward. Call off you’re old tired ethics. Get you kicks while you can cuz it will be 2012 before you know, man.

DJ Aden is one of my favorite DJ’s to party to- luckily he’s a good friend and we often play shows together. His style is an eclectic mix of Hip Hop, Mash Ups, Rock (don’t be surprised if Metallica gets mixed in seemlessly) and dubstep. He’s a former drummer and his ability to drop acapella’s over instrumentals is uncanny. Check him out below getting the girls to dance in OC(!).

“I am comfortable playing music of all different varieties and take pride in having an eclectic ear for music. I especially enjoy playing funk and soul, from classics to rare cuts, and believe that an important part of DJ’ing is sensing what the crowd needs, therefore setting the pace of the evening. I am also experienced with DJ’ing all kinds of parties including weddings and events that might need a more of a subtle cocktail hour jazz feel in the mix. I am always happy to share my ear and musical tastes with those who are interested.”

This is ‘Long Legs’ a song I wrote with the incredibly talented Cole Archuleta (guitar) and Jon Berger (Drums). I was on Bass and Vox (backup vocals were Cole and Jon as well). We recorded the instrumentals live and I did the vocals in just a couple takes and we did it all in a blanketed closet.
Anyway, this is from our lost, but not forgotten band- PLEASURE.

I made this out of all the classic tracks I’ve collected over the years. These are all 100% vinyl. Try to find the collector’s item (hint, it’s early DAFT PUNK). Anyway, hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

This is my first attempt at a solo project. I’ve been in rock bands, been a DJ (still am- MR PKLZ) and I’ve got to say this has been one of the most rewarding experiences ever. People have been so receptive and I’ve so much gratitude to express that I’m working on a special ‘Thank You for Being a Friend’ outro.
Most of all, I can’t wait to rock out for Chris’ 30th with these tracks:
ONE MAN BLANCHE THEME SONG
POONTANG
Duck Duck Goose
Heroes (David Bowie Cover)

I was about to record some songs that I compiled and performed recently. But after hearing T-Pain’s ‘Thr33 Ringz’ I feel like I need to soak in some schooling and get back to it later.

Hallelujah!

One Man Blanche Preparing to Roque
Many incidents stood out at this rare specimen of a New Years Eve party- locked bathrooms occupied with fornicators, full glasses of Patron on ice (with lime), ‘Who stole the Dr. Pepper?’, Endless hours of dancing on wood laminant to psychedelic retro latino grooves.
But alas, my favorite moment so far of 2009 has been rocking out, drunk as funk, with my favorite friends. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
