Ahh…When I Was in a Rock Band

This is ‘Long Legs’ a song I wrote with the incredibly talented Cole Archuleta (guitar) and Jon Berger (Drums). I was on Bass and Vox (backup vocals were Cole and Jon as well). We recorded the instrumentals live and I did the vocals in just a couple takes and we did it all in a blanketed closet.

Anyway, this is from our lost, but not forgotten band- PLEASURE.

In order to keep you all coming back to www.blondmoustache.com, I’ve been trying my hardest to figure out how to make all the tracks I post available for download. As soon as I figure it out, I will not only make my tracks available, but also DJ mixtapes that I’ve recorded.
Also, I will be soliciting other DJs to let me put their mixes on here- also available for free download. So, stay tuned- this will be a legit music blog before you know it! (1 year later, lol).

This is my first attempt at a solo project. I’ve been in rock bands, been a DJ (still am- MR PKLZ) and I’ve got to say this has been one of the most rewarding experiences ever. People have been so receptive and I’ve so much gratitude to express that I’m working on a special ‘Thank You for Being a Friend’ outro.

I Got Gigs…Better Finish my Album!

Ok, so I got some gigs this summer at the Sandpiper- AKA Dirty Bird in June, July and August (funny, because I’ve been thrown out of there twice). Hoping to get at least one gig at Ocean Avenue too.
But my main, MAIN focus is funding a mini tour out to foggy Londontown. So, if anyone can suggest some easy to book venues, lemme know.
I’m also available for baby showers, bar-mitzfahs, quinceaneras and corporate events. But I’ll have to insist on performing with no pants.

Holy Shit- My Name is Kinda Taken!

So, being the megalomaniac that I am, I was googling myself and there’s kind of another One Man Blanche!
I mean, technically it’s just the title of an article about a theatre piece wherein one man (Mark Sam Rosenthal) pays homage to Tennessee Williams with a back drop of Katrina, lead by a character named Blanche DuBois. The title of the play is South, which owns the intellectual property rights for Williams’s “Streetcar Named Desire,” has threatened legal action to stop performances of the one-man show “Blanche Survives Katrina in a FEMA Trailer Named Desire. However, the title of the article is: “One Man’s Blanche Is a University’s Infringement”. It’s a bad sign, even the word ‘infringement’ is in the title.

ONE MAN BLANCHE EP Halfway Done!

Man, I had a good weekend- got to lay the vocals over the track POONTANG, just need to add some finishing elements and it’s done. My theme song, ONE MAN BLANCHE should be done by this weekend, then I just need two more songs and I’m done!
